Major Duties

• Caring for children with learning disabilities from ages 7 to 18
• Managing children with behavioral issues and keeping records
• Assisting with home management tasks, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and cleaning the dormitories
• Accompanying sick children to hospital
• Administering medication as per Doctor's instructions
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals with ingredients that are in season to help manage on the limited budget
• Accompanying children to various activities such as netball , soccer and volleyball games

Main Duties

• Assisted the patients in toilets, and bathrooms and assisted patients with hygiene needs.
• Kept a clean environment with due consideration to health and safety issues and infection control policy.
• Took part in the cleaning and maintenance of medical equipment to help in the department function and regulation compliance.
• Monitored patients under care conditions to help identify symptoms, responses to treatment and progress with goals
• Recorded vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature

• Cleaned the house, ran errands, managed laundry, and completed weekly grocery shopping.
• Assisted relative with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Cooked meals and assisted patient with eating tasks to support healthy nutrition
• Monitored relative's overall health and well being and recorded major changes
• Helped with hospital visits and administering medication
