Sibusiso M. Nhlabatsi

· Managing Legal Clinic;

· Teaching Students and assessing them on Clinical Legal Education

· Supervising students in drafting court papers, counselling clients and settling legal disputes;

· Supervising students in billing clients and record-keeping; and

· Appearing in Courts (Supreme Court, High Court, Industrial Courts, and Magistrate’s Court) with students on behalf of clients of the Legal Clinic.

Dispute resolution and mediation

· Conducted study on independence and accountability of judges and lawyers in Swaziland and produced report;

· Ensure participation of at least one Swazi judge in International Human Rights Law Conference;

· Organized strategic planning workshop for Lawyers for Human Rights (Swaziland);

· Organized legal training workshop on strategic human rights litigation;

· Performed trial observation and generated reports for Human Rights Defenders.

• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

• Consult with clients, provide legal counsel or advice, and draft court papers.

• Represent clients at Magistrates Courts, Industrial Courts, and Administrative Tribunals.

• Carry out any assignments deemed necessary by Principal.
