I am a geo-scientist by training that has worn different hats in his short career. I co-founded a business in Eswatini that collects used cooking oil that is subsequently used for biofuels production, and I have also worked with the national energy utility to explore for geothermal energy resources,as well as working on geotechnical site investigations. These are indicative of my varying interests and belief that we are not one-trick ponies.
I am a consummate team player, with record of delivering the desired results.
I am a keen and avid learner with the attitude that few things cannot be taught to an individual willing to learn.
Green Knot is a collector of used cooking oil that is subsequently used as a feed stock in bio‑fuels production in South Africa. The feed stock is sourced from the hospitality, retail and food manufacturing industries in Eswatini. The company was founded by myself and a partner in June of 2021. Green Knot currently has 3 individuals in its employ. My primary role at the company save for general management of the business involves business development and client relations. Notable achievements include onboarding the likes of PnP, OK Foods, Shoprite, Futis, Kellogg Tolaram and Fedics Food Services as clients. Green Knot has also been an official 'green/waste partner' of the MTN Bushfire and Standbank Luju festivals since 2022. I have since taken a less active role at the company as I pursue other interests and opportunities.
Geo Solutions is a bespoke geological consultancy that specialises in geotechnical investigations for construction projects, mining advisory and environmental assessments.
My role included;
Inceptum is a company that has developed an app that allows sugarcane growers to monitor tonnage of sugarcane delivered to the sugar mill by hauliers. My time with Inceptum consisted of meeting with cane growers to sell them on the value of the product. I also assisted the hauliers, in particular the drivers, with how to work their way around the app.

Pre‑feasibility Exploration Project.
I worked as a junior geologist on an exploration project,the purpose of which is to determine the viability of geothermal energy production in Eswatini. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to be deployed across the geology(geological field mapping),geochemistry(CO2 flux rate and water sampling and chemical analysis)and geophysics(Magnetotelluric‑MT)teams,respectively
In June 2022, I was employed by the university's Future Africa initiative as an assistant when the university hosted the Sustainability, Research and Innovation Congress 2022.
My job largely entailed assisting presenters, with IT-related issues.
In 2017, I worked on transcribing research interviews conducted by MBA students at the University of Pretoria's Gordon Institute of Business Science(GIBS).
I also did data analysis using Excel for these students, which aided them in narrowing down and collating the information/data they had collected as part of their studies/research.
As a university student my role involved running weekend study groups for high school learners as well as advise those completing high school on potential future careers and university applications.
My work involved assisting the staff with document compilation, editing etc. I was also fortunate to play a small role in the preparation of theorganization's 5-year strategic plan which was launched in that year.
