Árpád Veress

Currently, I am occupied as a correctional officer at an institute of the Hungarian Prison Services. As a staff member at a prison, a well selected and professional type of communication with inmates as well as colleagues is my most used tool. Because this workplace is based on a military system, punctuality is key to getting jobs done, which skill I find crucial in any field.

As a physical education teacher, swimming and water sports have always stood closest to my interests. During my university years, I was occupied as a lifeguard at multiple pool parks, focusing mainly on ensuring the safety and well being of guests as well as cleaning and maintenance of pools. A high level of overall alertness was a skill I developed over the years at this role.

From the summer of 2015 to 2017 I worked as a waiter at one of the many restaurants of the beautiful Mount Washington Hotel in New Hampshire, USA. During my time there, I was part of an international team of professionals, and was able to master numerous skills from hospitality such as communicating with guests in a polite manner, and could socialize in a luxurious environment.
